Mark Flaherty has been named senior VP of marketing for RCA Music Group. He will be based in New York and report to executive VP and GM Tom Corson.

Flaherty - who previously was VP of marketing for the company - will develop and manage marketing campaigns for RCA artists. Previous to his RCA experience, he was a marketing consultant and clients included Universal Records, Mars Volta and Scissor Sisters.

Before Flaherty began his marketing career, he worked as a singer/songwriter.
