Carolyn Williams, formerly RCA Music Group's VP of urban marketing, has recently been named senior VP of the department. Williams will continue to report to Tom Corson, executive VP and GM of RCA Music Group.

Williams will oversee the label's urban marketing division and will still be creating marketing efforts for artists on all levels, from Alicia Keys to newcomer Jazmine Sullivan and rising hip-hop star Hurricane Chris.

Williams joined RCA Music Group in 2001 as director of marketing for J Records.
