Mark Wilkinson will take over as president of Deutsche Grammophon as of April 9th. The appointment was announced today by Frank Briegmann, President, Universal Music Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Deutsche Grammophon. Wilkinson will report directly to Frank Briegmann and will assume responsibility for all aspects of DG's operations in Berlin. Wilkinson held senior management and marketing posts with Universal Music for the past 19 years in London. Most recently, he had served as managing director of Decca Records.
