Music industry veteran Denise Roberts joins Universal Records South as director of national promotion. She will report to VP of national promotion Teddi Bonadies and will be based in Nashville.

The move marks a return to the label for Roberts, who previously served there from 2002-04, first as a regional promoter then as national director.

Roberts began her career at KZLA & KLAC in Los Angeles in 1988. She later moved to the Gary Group, a Los Angeles marketing firm.

She joined MCA Nashville in 1993 as a regional promoter and joined Universal South in 2002. In 2004, she joined Toby Keith's Show Dog Nashville.

Most recently she served as director of affiliate relations and marketing for Blair Garner Programming.
