Willie Nelson's alternative fuel truck stop and entertainment hub, Willie's Place in Carl's Corner, Texas, will host a grand re-opening with a week of shows beginning July 1. The newly designed and renovated Earth Bio-Willie Theater, named for Nelson's brand of renewable bio-diesel, is at the center of the week's celebration.

Singer/songwriters Ray Wylie Hubbard and David Allan Coe will perform all week while Nelson will headline a grand opening concert on July 3 that will also feature Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Hubbard, Coe and others.

Billed as the biggest green truck stop in the United States, the facility will include 13 islands and 26 pumps, and all fuel sold there will have some percentage of biofuel, ranging from 5% to 85%. The facility will feature two restaurants, a saloon, gift shop, a 750-seat performance hall and an XM Satellite Radio studio.

The truck stop is located on Interstate 35, 40 miles north of Waco. All Bio-Willie fuels are refined on-site.

Nelson was recently named to Billboard's Green 10, which spotlighted acts that, through their actions in the past 12 months, are making a major difference with environmental issues and inspiring their peers to do the same.
