-- With his H2O world tour set to sail May 21, Brad Paisley anchors this year’s AquaPalooza Signature Event in Lake Travis near Austin. Sea Ray Boats, which is co-sponsoring his tour, booked the 2010 water show for July 10. An estimated 35,000 people attended last year’s Signature Event on 4,000 boats when Alan Jackson headlined on Lake Martin in Alabama.

-- Dierks Bentley shipped the title track to his next album, “Up on the Ridge,” to radio April 12. Alison Krauss is a background vocalist on the single, but she’s just one of numerous contributors on the album, due June 8. Miranda Lambert, Jamey Johnson, Vince Gill, Del McCoury, Kris Kristofferson, the Punch Brothers, Tim O’Brien, Nickel Creek alum Chris Thile and Chris Stapleton (who recently split from the SteelDrivers) all guest on the bluegrass- influenced project. The album includes remakes of Kristofferson’s Grammy Award-winning “From the Bottle to the Bottom” and U2’s “Pride (In the Name of Love).”

-- Two years after finishing as the runner-up on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” Trace Adkins returns to the NBC reality series April 18 in an episode that has him overseeing the two teams’ efforts on the week’s assignment: refashion the images of Luke Bryan and Emily West. Adkins was a labelmate of the two Capitol artists at the time the episode was shot last fall. Adkins’ first single for Show Dog-Universal, “This Ain’t No Love Song,” will be released to radio May 10. His initial album for the label is expected in August.

-- Jewel’s second country album, “Sweet and Wild,” has been tapped for a June 8 release. Dovetailing with the project, she’ll launch an acoustic Star Light Café tour June 1 in Fargo, N.D. Radney Foster will open the shows beginning June 11 and will stay on the bill through the last announced date, June 27 in Seattle.
