Members of Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and System of a Down will also perform at the event, which hits the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 27.
Following the suicide of Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington in July, Blink-182 canceled its two planned co-headlining Welcome to Blinkin Park stadium shows with the group. But it looks like the two rock bands will unite onstage after all, for a tribute concert in honor of Bennington.
The one-night concert, titled Linkin Park & Friends Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington, was first announced on Monday. Blink-182 took to Twitter on Thursday (Sept. 21) to announce their involvement in the show, which will take place at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 27.
Blink-182 are joined by several other artists who today announced that they will perform at the event. That includes Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows and Synyster Gates, several members of System of a Down, Yellowcard singer William Ryan Key, Machine Gun Kelly and Kiiara, who is featured on Linkin Park’s recent single “Heavy."
