Plus, he ties the record for most concurrent songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
Ozuna scores his first No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart (dated Sept. 16), as his debut effort Odisea arrives with 18,000 equivalent album units earned in the tracking week ending Aug. 31, according to Nielsen music. Of that sum, 7,000 were in traditional album sales, helping the set concurrently top the Latin Album Sales chart. The set also bows at No. 22 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
Since notching his first hit on the Hot Latin Songs chart in August 2016, the 25-year-old has charted 19 total entries on the tally, more than any other artist since the beginning of 2016. Of those 19 hits, four have cracked the top 10.
Ozuna also makes a splash on the Hot Latin Songs chart (also dated Sept. 16), as the singer ties the record for most concurrent songs on the tally. (Eight holdover titles from the artist join two debuts and one re-entry.)
Including the debuts of “Criminal,” with Natti Natasha at No. 39, and “Se Preparo” at No. 50, and the re-entry of “No Quiere Enamorarse,” featuring Daddy Yankee at No. 49, Ozuna has a total of 11 titles on the chart.
Ozuna's 11 titles ties him with Joan Sebastian, who matched that total on the chart dated Aug. 1, 2015 (the first tracking week after his death).
