Nav and Kygo are among the slate of new clients.
Amid a host of new client signings that includes artists Chaka Khan, Jon Batiste, Jeezy, Nav and Kygo, The Chamber Group (TCG) announces three staff promotions.
Derek Sherron has been promoted to senior director of publicity at the New York-based boutique public relations, image marketing and special events firm. With TCG since 2013, Sherron is succeeded as director of publicity by Kerry Smalls, who joined the company in 2015. And Kasturi “Kaz” Shan, marking her one-year anniversary with TCG, has been promoted to public relations manager from publicity coordinator.
"It's an exciting time to watch young talent in the company continue to grow and develop into talented PR executives,” says Chris Chambers, who established The Chamber Group in 2006. “The Chamber Group is also moving forward in the areas of film, TV and brands. Our experience with media and strategic marketing has helped us grow our profile."
Big Boi (OutKast) and DJ Envy are also among the slate of artists that have recently signed with TCG. Those talents join an existing music roster that includes Future, YG, Erykah Badu, Tinashe, Kelly Rowland, Belly and Lion Babe.
TCG also represents the Starz series Power and Survivor’s Remorse, actresses Lala Anthony and Quevenzhane Wallis and Essence Communications (the annual Essence Festival and Essence Black Women in Hollywood events).
