Happy 40th birthday (March 2), Coldplay frontman Chris Martin!

The veteran alternative rock act sports a stellar record on the Billboard charts, including 21 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, led by its 2008 No. 1 "Viva La Vida," and 10 albums on the Billboard 200, including four No. 1s.

Coldplay has also landed 12 top 10s on Alternative Songs, including the No. 1s "Viva La Vida," "Paradise" (2011) and "Adventure of a Lifetime" (2016).

Coldplay's newest song, "Hypnotised," released today, has already hit No. 1 on the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140. The track is from the band's EP Kaleidoscope, due June 2.
