Adding to the excitement of the 59th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, technology and global payment company Mastercard is setting up an experiential record store to deliver a one-of-a-kind interactive music experience for fans.
The Masterpass #ThankTheFans House, which will take up residence at Gibson Brands Sunset, plans to channel the resurgence in popularity of vinyl records by allowing Masterpass users to shop for rare and unique vinyls for just $10. Visitors will be able to sign up for Masterpass on site if needed. All proceeds from the event will be donated to MusiCares, an organization founded by the Recording Academy that provides financial support to people in the music industry in times of need.
Visitors of the store can also take part in fun music-related activities, including testing out their DJ skills on a turntable, rocking out on a Gibson guitar, stepping into a recording booth or relaxing with a friend in a Vinyl Me, Please curated listening station.
The fun doesn’t stop there: Mastercard cardholders will also have exclusive access to live performances by Grammy artists each evening. Check out the lineup below:
Thursday February 9: KCRW’s Music Director Jason Bentley presents Dance Active: Music as a Uniting Force event at the MasterPass #ThankTheFans House. Special guests will attend the event.
Friday February 10: A special performance by Grammy nominee Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, presented by Billboard and Mastercard.
Saturday February 11: Music, style and culture publication The FADER and Mastercard join to present an exciting lineup.

The Masterpass #ThankTheFans House will be open from noon to 5 p.m. PT from Thursday to Saturday.
