Publishing executive Donna Caseine has joined Reservoir as senior VP of creative and A&R. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Caseine will develop and oversee the independent publishing firm’s West Coast creative operation.
Caseine, who will work with fellow executives in New York, the U.K. and Europe, comes to Reservoir after 20 years with Universal Music Publishing Group, where she served as Senior Vide President U.S./International Creative Affairs. During that period, she collaborated with a diverse roster that included such songwriters, producers and artists as Mariah Carey, Prince, Ariana Grande, Jill Scott, Raphael Saadiq, Julian Bunetta, Mike Elizondo and James Fauntleroy.
“Music, at its core, is genre-less and borderless, especially in the global digital age,” stated Caseine. “I’m looking forward to creating collaborative opportunities in both obvious and unexpected places.”
Reservoir is headed by president Golnar Khosrowshahi, who said the addition of Caseine “is another pivotal moment in building a seamless global team and historic catalog.”
Founded by Khosrowshahi in 2007 and based in New York City, Reservoir is home to a roster of writers and producers ranging from Nate "Danja" Hills and Scott Storch to performing artists 2 Chainz, Phantogram and Joey Bada$$. The company’s archives also include songs by David Crosby, Rickie Lee Jones and Billy Strayhorn as well as the catalogs of Sheryl Crow, Big & Rich and Lil’ Jon. Reservoir’s film music collection includes the rights to scores created by award-winning composer-producer Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, the Pirates of the Caribbean series and The Dark Knight trilogy).
