The alt-rock group's "Uma Thurman" rises 11-10 on the all-format airplay chart, drawing 78 million in audience (up 3 percent), according to Nielsen Music.
The song's fortunes have been driven by its success on the Pop Songs chart, where it lifts 8-7 in its 17th chart week, and Adult Pop Songs, where it holds at No. 4 in its 20th week. On the latter list, it's the act's highest-charting hit to-date.
(On the Billboard Hot 100, which tracks all-format airplay, sales and streaming, "Uma" bullets at No. 26, after reaching No. 22. The band has tallied four Hot 100 top 10s in its career.)
Fall Out Boy first reached Radio Songs 10 years ago tomorrow (Sept. 17, 2005) with "Sugar, We're Goin' Down," which rose to No. 18. Of FOB's six Radio Songs entries before "Uma," the band climbed as high as No. 13 with "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)" in 2013. Its single prior to "Uma," "Centuries," hit No. 15 on Radio Songs in February.
"Uma" has sold 1.04 million downloads, having cleared the million mark in the week ending Sept. 3. It's the band's eighth million-selling song. Both "Uma" and "Centuries" are from Fall Out Boy's Billboard 200-topping album American Beauty/American Psycho, which has sold 554,000 copies to-date. It became the group's third Billboard 200 No. 1 upon its debut in February and is FOB's sixth half-million seller.
