Interpol has announced a 2015 tour of North America which includes rescheduled dates for those postponed when the group was waylaid last November by a blizzard.
The band's first North American trek of the year will star April 8 at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, AZ, and will run through to the end of July. The itinerary includes two shows at Coachella, marking the first time in four years since the alternative rockers last played the fest.
When the band last did the rounds of their homeland, they ran into trouble when their bus got snowed in on a New York highway en route to Canada. Dates were nixed, but the band members kept their fans entertained by documenting their icy predicament on social media.
The canceled date in Boston will now take place on July 23 and the Montreal show will happen July 31, the final date of the run. "Folks in Toronto who have tickets for the postponed show at Kool Haus, we will have an announcement for you shortly," a note explains on the official Interpol Website. Due to the apparent closure of Kool Haus and the shuttering of Sound Academy, reportedly for renovations, the venue remains a mystery.
Interpol is currently on the road in Europe, with a concert booked for Amsterdam this Friday, followed by gigs in Belgium, Germany and France.
