Senior VP of concerts, ICM Partners

The past year has found veteran music agent Marsha Vlasic booking successful tours for clients Neil Young, Elvis Costello, Muse, Moby, Devendra Banhart and Cage the Elephant. But for Vlasic, who oversees the contemporary rock division from ICM Partners’ New York office, some of her most rewarding moments in recent months have involved charitable work on the annual Bridge School benefit concert and the Global Citizen Festival. “Standing on the side of the stage and seeing these handicapped children and their families, and knowing what you went through the whole year putting it together, is really gratifying,” Vlasic says of Young’s 27th Bridge School benefit in October, which she booked. Vlasic is also an advisory board member of the Global Poverty Project and helped line up talent for the 2013 Global Citizen Festival in New York, featuring headliners Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon, Alicia Keys and John Mayer. “It was great seeing that show get pulled off in Central Park and do well with some of the finest acts in the world,” she says. —Mitchell Peters
