Magnolia Pictures has acquired U.S. rights to Marley, the first documentary about iconic musician Bob Marley made with the support of the Marley family, to be released April 20. Marley would have been 67 years old today.
The American Federation of Musicians criticized Lionsgate over the score for the studio's upcoming feature adaptation of "The Hunger Games." The AFM claims the move was designed to avoid contractual minimums for wages, pension and health care payments American musicians would receive.
Titled "Living in the Material World: George Harrison," the documentary will take on the whole of the Beatles guitarist's life before, during and after his time in the world's most popular and successful band.
