Maximum Balloon, TV on the Radio guitarist David Andrew Sitek's solo project, releases the first new music since his 2010 debut of the same name. Entitled "Let it Grow", the track is graced with Sitek's fellow TV on the Radio band mate Tunde Adebimpe and Yeah Yeah Yeahs' vocalist Karen O, who join together in a something of a perfect union.

TV on the Radio's David Andrew Sitek Takes Flight With Maximum Balloon

The track's midsummer release resonates like a memory of spring, a stepping away from the humidity at hand to meet again -- even if momentarily - with the mid-March breeze. Airy and sweet, Karen O's vocals are more Crush Songs than they are "Heads Will Roll". Layered atop those of Adebimpe's, they are reminiscent of a budding love that is equal parts innocent and confident in the season to come. "It's ok to let it grow," sings Ms. O, as Adebimpe chimes in shortly after. "Let it grow into everything."

The track will be featured on an upcoming album from Sitek's Federal Prism label.
