Black Keys Taking 'Brothers' On Tour

The Black Keys aren't taking a break after their busy 2009. The duo has announced a summer tour beginning June 2 in Salt Lake City, as well as the track list for their new album "Brothers."

Fan who buy tickets for the tour from the Black Keys' website will receive a copy of "Brothers" upon release and a download of the songs "Tighten Up" and "Next Girl." "Brothers" comes out May 18 on Nonesuch Records.

The tour will include a two performances at Central Park's SummerStage on July 27-28, an opening slot for Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden on May 20, and performances on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on May 25 and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on May 26.

In 2009, the group was involved in three side projects: Dan Auerbach's solo effort, " Keep It Hid;" the debut LP from Patrick Carney's band Drummer; and Blakroc, a collaboration between The Black Keys and many veteran hip-hop artists.

Besides the Danger Mouse-produced "Tighten Up" and a cover of Jerry Butler's "Never Gonna Give You Up," "Brothers" was written, performed and produced by the Black Keys.
