Latin Grammys 2018
Premio Lo Nuestro: Mana, Camila, Wisin y Yandel, Ricky Martin & Prince Royce Shine
With three awards each, reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel, pop trio Camila, regional Mexican act Banda El Recodo and newcomer Prince Royce led the list of winners for Univision's annual Premio Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards, which aired live Thursday night (Feb. 17) from Miami's American Airlines Arena.
The winners of Premio Lo Nuestro are determined by fans, who voted Wisin y Yandel entertainer of the year as well as winners of the urban album and urban song of the year. Within the regional Mexican realm, El Recodo won awards for album of the year, group of the year and song of the year. Prince Royce won male artist of the year, new soloist or group of the year and song of the year (for "Stand By Me") in the tropical category.

Fans were incorporated into the Lo Nuestro show in several ways. Urban duo Chino y Nacho, for example, performed its hit "Tu Angelito" surrounded by Facebook and Twitter fans, while rockers Maná performed a medley of hits as voted upon by fans on Univision.com. Maná, who will release its new album in April, was given the Artistic Excellence of the year award.
Ricky Martin, who performed his new hit "Lo Mejor de Mi Eres Tú," received a World Icon award, while soap star/singer Lucero received a Career Achievement award.

Possibly the big surprise win of the evening was Jen Carlos Canela, who won for new soloist or group of the year, despite the fact that he's a soap star on Telemundo, Univision's rival network.
