No. 1 Album Next Week: Adele, Blake Shelton Or ... Kidz Bop?!

After cancelling a string of North American tour dates in June due to laryngitis, Adele has announced that the rescheduled shows will take place in August and October.

The newly announced trek will include stops in six additional cities: Las Vegas, Nev.; Atlantic City, N.J.; Durham, N.C.; Orlando, Fla.; Miami, Fla.; and Spring, Tex. The first set of rescheduled dates begins on Aug. 9 in Vancouver.

Earlier this month, Adele announced that the entirety of her North American trek would have to be rescheduled due to laryngitis, after previously postponing five shows under doctor's orders. "I'm really frustrated. I was hoping with a weeks rest I'd be better to sing again straight away," she said in a statement. "However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctor's advice and rest some more. I'm so sorry. See you soon, love Adele."

Adele's sophomore effort, "21," slips two spots to No. 3 on this week's Billboard 200, while the album's first single, "Rolling in the Deep," continues its run atop the Hot 100.
