Billboard En Vivo 2019: CNCO, Guaynaa, and More Perform

Latinx music’s biggest small-stage event culminated in Miami after a month-long, multi-city tour with headliner CNCO.

Throughout Billboard’s En Vivo series co-produced by Pepsi, the hottest names in Latin music brought the party to New York, Los Angeles and Miami for private performances to an audience of less than one thousand fans. The concerts are a celebration for Latin music and its fans, supporting rising and well-established artists alike.

Latin American boy band CNCO, performed a string of their biggest hits, from “Reggaeton Lento” and “Hey DJ” to “Mamita” and “Se Vuelve Loca,” highlighting powerful vocals and impressively tight dance moves.

Each show was hosted by local DJs including DJ Luna Rósa in New York, DJ Orange Calderón in Los Angeles and Mr. Pauer in Miami -- all familiar faces to the city scene. In New York, opening act Matt Hunter surprised fans with hitmaker GASHI for their joint track “Problemas”. Guaynaa brought the energy to Los Angeles, being newly recognized for his single “Rebota” which reached 4x multi-platinum in August. Leila Cobo, Billboard’s VP, Latin Industry lead presented him and his team at JAKMUSICA and Universal Music an official RIAA certified plaque before taking the stage.

In Miami, fans were lined up by 3am the night before to guarantee entry into the private show with openers, DJ Mr. Pauer and one of Billboard Latin’s artists on the rise, Yashua. During his 30-minute set, Yashua performed never heard before tracks from a just finished EP 777 which dropped at midnight. The rising star brought fans to their feet with collaborator Luis Figueroa who surprised the crowd with a special performance of their hit single “Pa Las Babies”.

CNCO is currently polishing off their upcoming EP "Que Quiénes Somos" which will be released this October.
