Drake's 'God's Plan' & Dua Lipa's 'New Rules' Are VMA Front-Runners, According to YouTube Predictions

Ahead of MTV's 35th annual Video Music Awards, YouTube has shared its predicted winners based on music video views from fans around the world.

The VMAs, set for Monday night at 9 p.m. ET on MTV, will highlight the best videos of the year, and based on YouTube viewer stats, Drake's "God's Plan" and Dua Lipa's "New Rules" are expected to clean up.

Additionally, MTV will honor Jennifer Lopez with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. J.Lo has had more than 980 million views this year alone and is among the top 100 most played artists on YouTube in 2018. Her 2011 video for “On the Floor,” featuring Pitbull, racked up a staggering 1.2 billion views and a wordwide audience from Mexico to Brazil.
