Nicki Minaj Dancer Bit by Snake During VMA 'Anaconda' Rehearsal (Report)

Nicki Minaj performs during Power 105.1 Powerhouse 2013 at Barclays Center on November 2, 2013 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.  

In an episode where the irony is surely lost on no one, one of Nicki Minaj's backup dancers was reported bit by a six-foot-long snake during a MTV Video Music Awards run-through performance Friday.

The snake is believed to be an anaconda, according to TMZ. And, yes, they were practicing Young Money rapper's record-breaking hit "Anaconda" for Sunday's show.

The dancer is said to have been transported to a hospital for treatment. Even though anacondas are not venomous, their bites can lead to infection through the transmittance of bacteria.
