Ariana Grande's Mom 'Cannot Wait' to Watch Her on 'The Voice'

And John Legend is super excited for her to join the team.

Ariana Grande said she was "beyond thrilled" to join The Voice as one of the four coaches during season 21 this fall. But she's not the only one. Ari's mom, Joan Grande, tweeted out her joy at the news as well.

"So so proud to announce Ariana is joining @nbcthevoice for season 21!!!!" the proud mom tweeted after the news was announced on Tuesday (March 30). "We are so excited ... love you @arianagrande cannot wait to watch you every week!!!!!"

One of this season's judges, Nick Jonas -- who Grande will replace -- also shared his joy, tweeting, "Congrats @ArianaGrande! You’re going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family." Fellow castmate John Legend added, "So excited to welcome Ariana to our Voice family!!"

Blake Shelton, who has been coaching since the series debuted in 2011, chimed in a little later in the day. "There's a new @NBCTheVoice coach in town y'all!" he exclaimed on Twitter. "Welcome to the fam @ArianaGrande!!!!!"

Kelly Clarkson, who's been in one of the red charis since season 14, also tweeted her excitement about having another woman on the show. "Next season we are bringing y’all some powerful female energy!" she shared. "Welcome to the @NBCTheVoice family @ArianaGrande."

Grande surprised followers when she announced her new gig at 11 a.m. ET on social media. "surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice!" Grande shared.

Legend arrived in season 16 of the show, while Jonas joined in season 18, took season 19 off, then returned for the current round. Carson Daly, the show's host since day one, will return as well.
