It's all in the family on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reboot. Will Smith gave the Fresh Nation an early holiday gift on Friday (Nov. 13) when he dropped the first trailer for the anticipated Fresh Prince reunion special, which will air on HBO Max on Nov. 19.

"You've probably seen the picture, me with the whole Fresh Prince cast... but you're not ready for this trailer. You couldn't be ready for this trailer! Happy Thanksgiving, yes, you're welcome Will," Smith says in a selfie video cueing up the two-minute trailer that finds him joined by series regulars Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Alfonso Ribeiro, as well as his recurring co-star and bandmate DJ Jazzy Jeff.

The getback at the Banks' home was taped on the 30th anniversary of the original series' premiere date and the behind-the-scenes trailer finds the cast hugging it out and freaking when Ribeiro pokes his head out at the top of the stairs for a grand entrance. We see them sitting on the living room couches as Smith expounds on his innate ability to "recognize chemistry" as he cues up a cut of him messing with Ribeiro's character Carlton.

"Nobody ever asked me if I could act," Smith says, with Ribeiro hopping in right on time to note, "and you couldn't." The cast also revisits how taping night was always a party, with everyone grabbing a percussion instrument to hype up the crowd. They also pay tribute to late family patriarch James Avery and tease Smith's sit-down with Janet Hubert -- the original Aunt Viv -- for their first conversation in 27 years. The special was directed by Marcus Raboy (Whitney Cummings: Can I Touch It?), with Raphael Saadiq serving as executive music producer.
