Give us more! Miley Cyrus is taking on Britney Spears' 2007 hit "Gimme More" for her Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions special edition of MTV Unplugged airing Friday (Oct. 16).

In a clip that MTV is sharing first with Billboard, the superstar transforms pop princess Spears' dance-pop tune off of Blackout into a stripped-down haunting, darker song full of pain and yearning. Cyrus delivers the performance with her powerful vocals while in her Los Angeles yard, decked out in a zebra-print dress with matching gloves and shoes.

During the special, the 27-year-old will also perform songs by Pearl Jam, The Cardigans and more during the acoustic set. When the special was first announced in early October, Cyrus shared the news on Twitter with a flashy 15-second ad.

Earlier this year, MTV reimagined its classic MTV Unplugged series -- which turned 30 last November -- to offer MTV Unplugged At Home. It was timed with the launch of the #AloneTogether campaign, which aims to educate young people about social distancing in an effort to reduce transmission of the coronavirus.

Miley Cyrus Backyard Sessions airs on MTV Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
