Chance the Rapper to Host MTV & Quibi's 'Punk'd' Reboot

"You just got Punk'd!" is what Chance the Rapper will be shouting this year.    

MTV and mobile video platform Quibi announced on Friday (Jan. 24) that Chance will be taking the crown from Ashton Kutcher as the new host of the iconic prank show Punk'd.

The series, which originally launched back in 2003, will be reimagined for a new generation of viewers and will be available exclusively on Quibi. The celebrities to be punk'd will be announced at a later date.

“Punk’d is one of MTV’s most iconic franchises,” said the Grammy award winner in a press statement. “I grew up watching this show and it’s surreal to be in the driver’s seat this time around on Quibi.” 

Quibi, which is launching on April 6, will feature original content in easy, on-the-go mobile viewing with shows clocking in 10 minutes or less. Watch a teaser below:
