Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters performs onstage at the 2018 Children's Hospital Los Angeles "From Paris With Love" Gala at LA Live on Oct. 20, 2018 in Los Angeles.

Dave Grohl made his way down to Sesame Street recently, and hung out with fellow icons Elmo and Big Bird.

In a video from the show uploaded to YouTube, Elmo introduces his "friend, Mr. Dave Grohl" to the viewers.

"It’s nice to come here and be with my friends Big Bird and Elmo,” the Foo Fighters frontman replies. “You know, I was just thinking, there’s friends everywhere, even the ones that you don’t know.”

The trio then travel across the country to find new friends, singing the "Here We Go Song." "From our street to your street," they sing as they visit the USA's deserts, capital and biggest cities.

Sesame Street is celebrating its 50-year anniversary this year, and the new season is set to premiere on Nov. 16. Watch Grohl, Elmo and Big Bird's "Here We Go Song" below.
