The latest season will take place in 1984 and have a slasher film theme.

If it feels like Billie Eilish is everywhere these days, you're not wrong. Case in point: the singer's spooky track "Six Feet Under" is the soundtrack to the super freaky teaser for AHS: 1984 that dropped on Wednesday morning (April 10).

Showrunner Ryan Murphy revealed the title of the ninth season of the FX American Horror Story anthology, due back in the fall, with a clip that brings to mind the slasher films of the 1980s.

With images of a woman sprinting through the dark woods at night while being chased by an ominous man in black boots carrying a giant knife that stabs through a door to her eternal fright, the brief teaser brings to mind such Reagan-era 1984 horror classics as Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Children of the Corn.

Eilish released "Six Feet" in 2016, just after dropping her debut single, "Ocean Eyes." The singer is celebrating her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 (dated April 13), for When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which launched with 313,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music.
