Lin-Manuel Miranda, Diane Warren & More Mourn the Death of Penny Marshall

Penny Marshall died on Monday night at age 75 from diabetes complications. Marshall starred with Cindy Williams in the ABC sitcom Laverne & Shirley, where she even directed a few episodes. She also starred in the 1970s hit television show The Odd Couple with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall.

Marshall went on to direct Big in 1988 and became the first female to direct a movie that grossed over $100 million. She also directed cult classics like A League of Their Own (1992) and Riding in Cars With Boys (2001).
