In television’s current reboot renaissance, Fran Drescher is rooting for the return of her '90s sitcom The Nanny, and it seems like she's already found the perfect dream castmate: Cardi B.

Cardi B paid homage to Drescher’s iconic '90s style in an animal-clad Instagram post last month, captioning the photo “Fran Drescher in @dolcegabbana.” Drescher, 61, was so flattered by Cardi’s post that she began to imagine a future performing alongside the “I Like It” rapper.

“I got my creative juices flowing and thought, 'Wait a minute, she’s from New York, we both have funny voices, she could be my daughter!'” Drescher said in an interview with People.

Although there isn't an official Nanny reboot in the works, Drescher has stated she would love to be a part of it. “I don’t know what is going on with some of these networks out there," Drescher told People. “They do not seem to be hip to the fact that there’s an obsession amongst millennials for the show and moi!”
