Conan O'Brien performs with Jimmy Vivino & The Basic Cable Band on Conan.

Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable played their final episode of Conan on Thursday, Oct. 4. The group served as the program's house band for 25 years.

The band's performance came after host Conan O'Brien revealed that his late night show was going to be cut from an hour to 30 minutes.

“I can say this with confidence, I have been graced with the most versatile, loyal, and joyously effervescent band in the history of television,” O'Brien said during the episode. “To put it very simply, I love these guys.”

The show host later joined the band to perform their rendition of Chuck Berry's "Thirty Days," a song they played at the end of each show on O'Brien's 2010 The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour

In the upcoming months, the comedian will be going on another comedy tour, Conan & Friends: An Evening of Stand-Up and Investment Tips with tickets already available. He has also announced the launch of his new podcast titled "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend," as well as the release of archived digitally remastered Late Night with Conan O'Brien episodes.
