Riz Ahmed arrives at the world premiere of "Venom" at the Regency Village Theater on Oct. 1, 2018 in Los Angeles.

Venom star Riz Ahmed dropped by The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday (Oct. 2) to promote his new movie -- and share his love for Eminem.

The new Marvel movie is due out on Friday (Oct. 5), and features a track by the Detroit rapper. "Are you a big Eminem fan? Can you remember where you were when you first heard his music?" host James Corden asked. "I'm a huge Eminem fan! He changed rap and music for me," Ahmed shared.

The actor then proceeded to tell a story about how when he was younger, he would watch late night TV shows in England that featured new music videos from America. One time, Eminem's 1999 smash hit "My Name Is..." came on and Ahmed was instantly blown away.

“I immediately reached for the cabinet, took the first VHS tape I could find, put it in and recorded that video. For a week, I just watched it again, again and again," Ahmed said. "Only later I realized I taped it over my parents wedding," he revealed as the crowd burst out laughing. "But only for three minutes!” he added.

“Yeah, only the three minutes of the vows!” Corden joked, adding, "What did your parents say?!"

"They didn't know up to now…so hopefully they don't watch this," Ahmed replied, laughing.
