Ninja Sex Party Delivers Eccentric 'Danny Don't You Know' Performance On 'Conan': Watch
Ninja Sex Party gave the word "outrageous" a whole new meaning on Conan's Monday (Sept. 17) episode.
Performing for the first time on live television, the musical comedy duo, consisting of singer Dan Avidan and keyboardist Brian Wecht, brought a true Halloween mood to the show, thanks to metallic leotards and Transformers suits. With the rendition of their single "Danny Don't You Know" from their 2018 record Cool Patrol, the pair entertained the crowd with their playful act.
Decked out in a sky-blue leotard and a white furry cape, Avidan powerfully sang the lyrics as keyboardist Wecht and the rest of the band rocked Transformers costumes, black ninja masks and other peculiarities like a traffic-cone-looking headpiece.
By the end of the performance, Wecht pulled out signs with the song's lyrics for the crowd to sing along, but kept them upside down in another funny trick.
The hilarious single is a a letter to Avidan’s younger self, reassuring the teenage version that he is "Cool as fuck on the inside/You're just going through an awkward phase from 12 to 29.''
