Fergie Recreates 'Wendy Williams Show' Theme Song 'Feel It' For Season 10: Exclusive Sneak Peek
Fergie also shares a behind-the-scenes look at how the revamped song came together.
Wendy Williams will be kicking off the 10th season of her hit talk show The Wendy Williams Show on Sept. 10, and in celebration of the milestone season, the host called up Fergie for a favor: revamp the show's theme song "Feel It."
"Fergie has been a friend to the show for many years -- she's one of our people," Williams tells Billboard. "This remix is something me and my co-hosts can dance to! And we will -- every morning thanks to Fergie! How she doin'?"
As Williams hints, the "Glamorous" singer put a Fergalicious spin on the upbeat tune, adding a runway-ready beat to the danceable theme. The full new version of "Feel It" will be unveiled on the Season 10 premiere on Sept. 10, but Billboard has an exclusive sneak peek of the track in a behind-the-scenes video from the making of Fergie's rendition.
Fergie is no stranger to The Wendy Williams Show, and last time the singer stopped by, she engaged in a dance-off with the host. "I feel like everybody feels like Wendy could feel like their best friend," Fergie says. "But you're also there feeling fabulous, and the thing that starts you feeling fabulous is the Wendy Williams theme song."
Williams is hosting a fan appreciation party at New York City's PlayStation Theater Thursday night (Sept. 6), where attendees will get to watch more behind-the-scenes footage and hear part of Fergie's "Feel It."
