Season 13 of America’s Got Talent is already nearing its finale, and anything can happen to get closer to the $1 million prize -- maybe even a cameo from Garth Brooks.

After Michael Ketterer’s performance on Tuesday (Sept. 4) -- a rendition of Miley Cyrus’ “When I Look at You” -- judge Simon Cowell made a surprise move by calling out the country legend and asking him to write a song for Ketterer if he makes it to the finals.

“You're an extraordinary human being, Michael," said Cowell. "I have to tell you. I'm going to send a shout-out to somebody right now, and that person is Garth Brooks. Garth, if you're watching the show, please write Michael a song for the final if he makes it into the final. I just have this feeling about you two having a connection. I hope he gets this message because I want to see you in the final with a killer song to make your dreams come true, Michael. I really want it to happen. You deserve it."

Cowell has openly been a fan of Ketterer since the beginning of the show, granting the singer his golden buzzer after the Knoxville resident's audition and even crying during his performance on the show's quarterfinals.

Other judges also seem to appreciate Ketterer's talent and dedication, as many took the time to express their feelings towards the singer. "You're talking to me," Mel B said. "You're singing to me. I relate to you. I love what you do for mental health. I suffer from that too ... I want you to go through 'cause I have to hear that voice again. It's just so real and honest. I'm just floored."

Supermodel judge Heidi Klum also pointed out that Ketterer has improved with each performance. "I mean you really are a special person, and I feel ... that every time we've seen you, you've become better and better and better and better," Klum said. "I feel like you're more free. You feel more at home on the stage, and I mean your wife, your kids and everyone around you must be so very proud of you."

The AGT semi-finals continue next Tuesday (Sept. 14), where 10 more contestants will compete for a spot in the coveted finals, which will air on Sept. 18.
