If you ever had hopes of hearing Sam Smith do a little karaoke, it's time to let that dream die -- that is, unless Fifth Harmony is involved.

During a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Thursday night (Feb. 1), Smith talked with Fallon about his hatred of karaoke, which he believes doesn’t work if you can sing. After Fallon hinted his desire to hear Smith sing something that isn't his own, the audience roared with applause at the thought of a Smith karaoke session. But he did not oblige, revealing he would only do karaoke to a song by the "Work From Home" stars.

Fallon and Smith also detailed his vacation habits, and the late night host asked the singer what he does when he goes on vacation. The “Too Good at Goodbyes” vocalist revealed he eats “a lot of cheese” and drinks “a lot of alcohol," and the conversation then led them to discuss Sam’s recent trip to Sydney where he detailed that he was so drunk one night that he ended up puking right at the bar.

“I did a shot of tequila and it went down the wrong way and then I just puked in my hand,” he shared to the Tonight Show audience and viewers at home.

Further in the interview, the two discussed Smith potentially performing at the royal wedding (hint: he’s not) and how he went from having over 130 songs written down to the tracks that made it for his latest album.
