Jimmy Kimmel and Ray Romano on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Yesterday, in celebration of late night host Jimmy Kimmel’s Nov. 13 birthday, a number of celebrities joined together to read mean tweets about Kimmel in a spoof on his segment.

Kimmel jokingly asked, “People tweeted mean things about me?,” as if he’d never been on the Internet before. Ray Romano introduced the segment, explaining to Kimmel, “We’re going to take you down a notch.”

Kimmel’s pal, radio host Howard Stern made an elusive appearance for the bit, as he read a tweet “Is Jimmy Kimmel crosseyed or just ridiculously ugly?” Stern wasn’t sure how to react to someone roasting his friend, and just repeated, “Stupidest, stupid, stupid.”

David Spade hilariously pointed out, “You got some haters,” to Kimmel, of course pronouncing it “hay-tahs.” Tracy Morgan referred to one Twitter user as a “crazy sick motherf---er” when they tweeted, “If you replaced Jimmy’s nose with a d--k, you’d have a dead ringer for dumbo.”

Larry David read a more eloquently worded troll’s tweet, “This is going to sound fantastic, but I forgot Jimmy Kimmel’s name so I googled 'Ugly late night talk show host' and I got him, top link.'"

The funniest contribution of all, of course, came from Kim Kardashian, as she read off husband Kanye West’s tweet, “JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P---Y IN YOUR LIFE,” to which she matter-of-factly replied, “Fair point, Kanye.”

Other A-list stars who stopped by to read off mean tweets included Will Ferrell, Jennifer Lawrence, and Stephen Colbert, who couldn’t contain themselves when roasting their friend via Twitter trolls.

In a much kinder moment during Kimmel’s birthday celebration, actor Ben Affleck and director J.J. Abrams surprised the late night host by turning a comic book he created during his childhood, titled The Terrific Ten, into a full-on action flick. The Terrific Ten trailer premiered during Kimmel’s birthday episode, featuring stars like Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston, Zach Galifianakis, and more.

See the entire adorable trailer -- which does not stray from Kimmel’s pre-pubescent words in the slightest -- below.
