Stranger Things: Season 2.

The gang is all but done with the Upside Down.

Netflix series Stranger Things is set to follow up the massive hype of season one. Set to release on Oct. 27, the series tweeted out the season two trailer early Friday (Oct. 13).

The trailer begins with a wide shot on the snowy woods, as Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) grabs Eggo waffles in a plastic baggy from a storage bin. Suspense builds with the coming of Halloween night. “Maybe all of this is happening for a reason,” Mike (Finn Wolfhard) says ominously in voiceover after stating that Will (Noah Schnapp) saw “a sort of shadow” on Halloween night.

Joyce (Winona Ryder) is done with being left out of the loop, screaming “What is wrong with my boy?” while slamming her hands down on a boardroom table. The kids mention Eleven, and suddenly she’s running through the woods, unlocking the house with her mind. The door swings open and there she is, nosebleed and all. Her hair is no longer buzzed, and her scowl is crowned with brown curls.

Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) describes it as “Judgment Day,” saying “We need as much help as we can get,” and suddenly a new kid with long red hair appears to have joined the gang in fighting the evils season 2 brings.

The show was quick to dodge fans questions and comments with their own GIF’s, asking one fan who replied with only a keysmash, “Are you speaking from The Upside Down? Do you need help?” See some of the best replies, below.
