In light of 12-year-old ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer being crowned winner on Wednesday night's season 12 finale of America's Got Talent, we are revisiting every winner in the show's history dating back to the first season in 2006. 

Farmer is actually the third singing ventriloquist to claim AGT victory, as Terry Fator won in season 2 (2007) and Paul Zerdin won in season 10 (2015). Other notable winners include father-son dog-training trick duo Olate Dogs in season 7, magician Mat Franco in season 9 and Grace VanderWaal from season 11 who has just announced a new EP.

Season 1: Bianca Ryan singing "I Am Changing" by Jennifer Hudson

Season 2: Terry Fator performed "Friends In Low Places" by Garth Brooks and "Crying" by Roy Orbison through puppets.

Season 3: Neal E. Boyd sang tenor arias "Nessun Dorma."

Season 4: Country singer Kevin Skinner performed Aerosmith classic "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing."

Season 5: Michael Grimm sang Percy Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman."

Season 6: Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. covered "My Way" by Frank Sinatra.

Season 7: Olate Dogs flipped and walked on hind legs.

Season 8: Kenichi Ebina danced. 

Season 9: Mat Franco unveiled new card trick.

Season 10: Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin joined by multiple puppets onstage.

Season 11: Grace VanderWall performed original song "Clay."

Season 12: Darci Lynne sang The Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends" with puppets.
