Wednesday night (Sept. 13) found famed director Spike Jonze using Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show as the set for a shot-live short dance film. The short features actor Lakeith Stanfield (known for his roles in FX series Atlanta and film Get Out) with actress Mia Wasikowska.

The two begin laying together in bed, getting up and slowly going through the motions in what seems to be morning, before jostling into a dance routine choreographed by Ryan Heffington -- the man behind Sia's moving dance-based video for "Chandelier." The song is "Nobody Speak" by DJ Shadow featuring Run the Jewels, and the short is a snippet taken and adapted from Changers: A Dance Story, which Jonze wrote and directed.

At the end of the routine, the lights come up and we see a gleeful Fallon beside himself. As usual. Afterward, Jonze, Stanfield and Wasikowska sat together on the couch for a short interview with Fallon where Jonze explains the the full piece is about 40 minutes and explores the evolution of a relationship through dance.
