Dennis Haskins, Drew Barrymore and Gaten Matarazzo have also made the jump to videos.

The era of Peak TV has seen tons of major movie stars making the jump to the small screen to topline prestige series. But this year has also seen a handful of TV actors and actresses making a different kind of leap: starring in music videos. Cameos from a-list (plus plenty of b, c and z-list) stars have a long history in promotional music clips, but the recent boom has seen a new generation of TV personalities hopping into the mix alongside some small screen veterans.

The latest is Lena Headey, Queen Cersei on Game of Thrones, who takes the lead in the video for Kasabian's "III Ray (The King)." In th clip, she plays a party-ready black magic aficionado who resurrects King Richard III for a wild pub crawl.

She joins a long list of fellow small screeners who've visited music video land in 2017, among them: Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Iris Apatow (Love), Lakeith Stanfield (Atlanta), Issa Rae (Insecure), Lil Rel Howery (The Carmichael Show), Jerrod Carmichael (The Carmichael Show), Tiffany Haddish (The Carmichael Show), Tessa Thompson (Westworld), Dennis Haskins (Saved by the Bell), Drew Barrymore (Santa Clarita Diet), Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), Jenna Ushkowitz (Glee), the cast of Glow and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson ("The Mountain" from Game of Thrones).
