As voting for the 2017 Emmy nominations approaches on June 12, if the stars of the small screen haven’t yet started “campaigning” for their nomination, it’s about time to. At least, that's the advice Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom gets from her publicist in the comedic actress’ latest YouTube “vahdio.”

Bloom, who sings on the CW hit musical comedy and shares satirical music videos online, released her latest clip, "Rachel Bloom Doesn't Care About Award Shows," on Wednesday (June 7) in anticipation of the Emmy Awards. In the video, Bloom is advised to make a new, promotional music video for Emmy consideration, but the TV star -- who insists she is a serious actor, the kind who spends time "wearing black and reading ancient Grecian plays" -- says she couldn't care less about award shows.

Despite Bloom's repeat insistence on her award show apathy -- as she sings in her makeup chair and stands on stage in a red carpet-style gown -- the hilarious, over-the-top video may reveal otherwise.

Watch the hilarious, Emmy-deserving video below.
