Melissa McCarthy poses for Saturday Night Live promos backstage in Studio 8H on May 9, 2017.

It's a big night for Melissa McCarthy: The Ghostbusters star returns to terrorize Press Secretary Sean Spicer—er, host Saturday Night Live for the fifth time.

McCarthy is the fifth woman to join the venerable Five-Timers Club, joining the company of Tom Hanks, John Goodman, Justin Timberlake, and more -- the only other women to host SNL five or more times are Drew Barrymore, Candice Bergen, Tina Fey, and Scarlett Johannson.

But rather than focusing on her own SNL success, McCarthy spends her Mother's Day monologue ushering a random mom from the audience through the Studio 8H backstage, past a quick visit with Haim, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and onto the stage as a guest host. Adorable.
