Pharrell Williams arrives to the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Jan. 8, 2017 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Octavia Spencer also tweets about the "Hidden Figures" mix-up.

While Twitter often ignites beefs, it's also pretty good at squashing them.

At Sunday night's Golden Globes, both NBC’s Jenna Bush Hager and actor Michael Keaton referred to Fox’s Hidden Figures as “Hidden Fences” -- confusing it with another nominated film, Fences -- at different points during the evening. For Bush, it was when she spoke to Pharrell (who worked on the film's soundtrack) on the pre-show red carpet, and for Keaton, it was when he named Octavia Spencer as a nominee for best supporting actress for her role in Hidden Figures.

Social media was quick to react to the mix-up, but after Bush appeared on the Today show on Monday (Jan. 9) to apologize for the mistake, Spencer took to Twitter to clear the air. “@JennaBushHager We all make mistakes, hon! Thanks for your apology!” wrote Spencer.

Bush soon replied, “Dearest, @octaviaspencer Your kindness means so much to me + your compassion is matched only by your incredible talent in Hidden FIGURES! X.”

Pharrell quickly followed suit, poking fun at the incident to relay there were no hard feelings.
