Dave Grohl Was Aerosmith's Most Excited Fan During Super Bowl Music Fest: See the Pic
Aerosmith delivered an electric performance at the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest Friday night (Feb. 1).
The frontman attended Aerosmith's show at the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest Friday night (Feb. 1), getting up close and personal with the legendary rock group by sitting side stage. He was discreet until Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler spotted him during "Living On the Edge." Tyler then walked Grohl's way and even dropping the mic down for Grohl to sing. And then, all fan girl broke loose.
Grohl, who attended the show with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, couldn't help freaking out that Tyler was right next to him, smiling and singing along. He continued bobbing his head throughout the rest of the song, clearly loving every second of his fellow rock star's performance.
Though Grohl never joined Aerosmith for a song, the "Dude" rockers certainly gave the amped-up crowd a performance to remember, with Tyler and Co. utilizing every inch of the stage as they sang classics like "Janie's Got a Gun," "Cryin'" and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing." The Bad Boys from Boston made sure to show their Patriots pride in their encore, with bassist Tom Hamilton throwing on a Rob Gronkowski jersey and Tyler sporting an AFC Champions hat as he rocked out to "Dream On."
