If you’re wondering who will win the Super Bowl this weekend, look no further than the music streaming service Spotify, of course.

According to data from Spotify, over the past three years, teams with the most fan-generated playlists have won: Patriots in 2017, Broncos in 2016 and the Patriots in 2015. Based on the number of playlists created by hometown fans to prepare for Sunday's big game, the music streaming service predicts that the New England Patriots will win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to pre-show playlists, fans also help boost streams of the halftime performers after they grace the stage. In 2015, halftime performer Missy Elliott had a 166 percent increase in streams the day after the game. Other artists also saw spikes in their streams, including a 401 percent increase for Lady Gaga last year, a 166 percent increase for Katy Perry after she performed in 2015 and 150 percent for Coldplay in 2016.

Obviously, fans can’t forget the best part of the games: the commercials. Songs featured in the Super Bowl commercials tend to gain popularity as well. When Ford used Nina Simone’s “I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free” in a 2017 commercial, streams of her song increased 1,012 percent. So, no matter who wins, it’s pretty much guaranteed that Spotify users will be listening to halftime performer Justin Timberlake at some point this weekend.
