The dancer also spoke about her beliefs as a Christian woman, and how she was always at odds with her own sexuality — that is, before meeting Tayla. "As a believer, I struggled for years being attracted to both men and women. I told myself, for years it was something I wouldn’t do again (date a woman)," she wrote. "Until I met someone who showed me what love looked and felt like. She loved that I love Jesus and she loves Him too. Someone who not only I thought was super beautiful from outside, but also the inside. Her eyes light my heart, and laugh fills me with more joy, her generosity with her time is unmatched and her constant pursuit of my heart, has made me feel like such a queen. Love is the most important gift of all and it has surpassed anything."
For her part, Parx took a much more subtle approach to announcing the news, reposting a photo of Quigley's ring on her Instagram Story. But that certainly didn't stop her from letting her fianceé know what she meant to her, with a simple "I love you!" commented below her post.
A couple of stars popped into the comments to wish the happy couple congratulations. One such star was none other than Lizzo, Parx's touring mate throughout 2019, who was clearly emotional about all of the news, commenting "Still crying" with a heart emoji.
