Normally, when internet comedian Randy Rainbow goes after President Donald Trump with one of his scathing parody songs, he does it mostly by himself. But today (Oct. 7), the star is getting an assist from one of Broadway's biggest stars.
On Wednesday, Rainbow released his latest Trump-inspired parody video, "If Donald Got Fired," this time featuring none other than Broadway legend Patti LuPone. Set to the tune of "If Momma Was Married" from Gypsy, the song fits perfectly for LuPone, as the actress famously earned her second Tony Award for her portrayal of Rose in the 2008 Broadway revival.
The video opens with Rainbow serving as the moderator for the chaotic first presidential debate. As he tries to keep hold of the reins, LuPone suddenly appears in a puff of smoke, telling a bewildered Rainbow that "when gay men are in crisis, I just materialize."
