As the live music industry continues to reel from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, more artists are finding ways to put on their planned shows from the comfort of their own homes. Now, a group of queer artists are ready to rise to the task.

On Thursday (May 14), live event production company JJ|LA announced that starting on Tuesday, May 26, they will be hosting a 10-episode, five week long LGBTQ concert series, "OUTLOUD: Raising Voices," which will help benefit local Pride organizations affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

The first episode will feature the artists originally slated to perform at the cancelled OUTLOUD showcase at this year's South By Southwest. Australian pop singer Betty Who will serve as the headliner for the event, along with performances from artists like Madame Gandhi, Flavia, SWSH, Bang Bang Romeo, PineappleCITI, Pabllo Vittar, Ryan Cassata and Ariel View.

While the official lineups for following shows have yet to be officially revealed, the remaining episodes will feature appearances and performances from stars like Kesha, Greyson Chance, Allie X, Candis Cayne, Vincint, The Aces, and Wrabel.

“Now more than ever, it is important to find ways to feel united while still being mindful of current social distancing requirements. OUTLOUD: Raising Voices is a perfect opportunity to bring people together while also giving back to our communities around the country,”JJ|LA founder and CEO Jeff Consoletti said in a statement. “Pride festivals are often the biggest — if not only -—fundraiser many local Pride organizations will have, and the loss of these events is potentially devastating. We hope the community will join us to celebrate Pride together with each other and these amazing artists and donate to some great non-profits.”

The first episode of "OUTLOUD: Raising Voices" will take place on Tuesday, May 26 at 8 pm EST on LGBTQ@Facebook, OUTLOUD’s Facebook page and the JJ|LA Facebook page.
